16KF /10KF Aluminum edge seal 

With Aluminium seals, UHV leak tightness can be reached with KF flanges. Temperature range is -200°C to +150°C. To apply the high sealing force, suitable chain clamps are required.

Only with metal seals cryo temperatures can be reached.

If used with increasing torque, Aluminium edge seals can be used for approx. 5 times, but leak tightness must be tested.
